7.3 Changes in Scope

8. Variations and Additional Works

9. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

• secure pets and ensure occupant safety during works

Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in delays, suspension of work, or additional charges.

10. Scheduling and Attendance

We will use reasonable endeavours to attend appointments at agreed times; however, exact arrival times cannot be guaranteed due to operational factors such as emergencies, traffic conditions, or earlier works overrunning. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments where circumstances reasonably require.

11. Payment Terms

11.1 Payment Obligations
Payment terms will be specified within the quotation or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due upon completion of work. Larger projects may require deposits or staged payments.

11.2 Late Payment
Late payments may result in suspension of ongoing work, withholding of certificates or documentation, and interest charges permitted under applicable UK legislation.

11.3 Retention of Title
Ownership of supplied materials remains with the Company until payment is received in full.

12. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Clients must provide reasonable notice when cancelling appointments. The Company reserves the right to charge for late cancellations, travel costs, reserved labour time, and materials already purchased. Deposits may be non-refundable where costs have already been incurred.

13. Workmanship Guarantee

The guarantee excludes defects caused by:

14. Inspection, Testing, and Certification

• Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)
• Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificates

Certificates may be issued following satisfactory completion of works and settlement of outstanding balances.

15. Health and Safety Compliance

We operate in accordance with UK health and safety legislation and maintain safe working practices at all times. We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate work where conditions are unsafe or instructions conflict with safety regulations.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:
