1. Definitions

• "Agreement" means the accepted quotation together with these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services Provided

We provide professional electrical services including but not limited to:

• Electrical installations and rewiring
• Consumer unit upgrades and replacements
• Socket and switch installations
• Lighting design and installation
• Outdoor and garden electrics
• Electrical fault diagnosis and repair
• Inspection and testing services
• EV charger installations
• Maintenance and compliance works

All works are undertaken in accordance with current UK electrical regulations, industry codes of practice, and safety standards.

3. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations are provided free of charge and remain valid for 30 calendar days unless otherwise specified.

Quotations include:

• Labour costs as specified
• Materials and equipment required
• Standard warranty provisions
• Compliance with current regulations

Quotations exclude:

• Additional works not specified in original scope
• Unforeseen structural modifications
• Third-party costs beyond our control

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are as follows:

• Deposit: 50% payable on acceptance of quotation
• Progress Payments: As agreed for larger projects
• Final Balance: Due on completion of works
• Payment Methods: Bank transfer, cash, or card payments

Late payments may result in suspension of ongoing work, withholding of certificates or documentation, and interest charges permitted under applicable UK legislation.

11.3 Retention of Title
Ownership of supplied materials remains with the Company until payment is received in full.

5. Cancellation Policy

Clients may cancel services with the following conditions:

• Within 24 hours: Full refund of deposit
• 24-72 hours: 25% cancellation fee
• After 72 hours: Deposit non-refundable
• After work commencement: Full payment for completed work

6. Warranty and Guarantees

All works are covered by our standard warranty:

• Workmanship: 12 months guarantee on all installations
• Materials: Manufacturer's warranty applies where applicable
• Compliance: All work meets current regulations
• Certificates: Provided for all notifiable work

Warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, or unauthorised modifications.

7. Liability and Limitations

Our liability is limited as follows:

• Professional negligence covered up to applicable insurance limits
• Not liable for indirect or consequential losses
• Not responsible for delays beyond our control
• Client responsible for site access and utilities

8. Health and Safety Compliance

We operate in accordance with UK health and safety legislation and maintain safe working practices at all times. We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate work where conditions are unsafe or instructions conflict with safety regulations.

9. Intellectual Property

All website content, designs, and materials remain the intellectual property of VCR Electric Services Ltd. Unauthorised use or reproduction is prohibited.

10. Data Protection and Privacy

11. Termination or Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services where payment obligations are not met, abusive or unsafe conduct occurs, or contractual terms are breached. All completed work up to termination remains payable.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

13. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
